Estoy escribiendo un libro Titulado Un Marielito en el Omblido del Mundo, donde muchos de mis compatriotas marielitos me han mandado cada uno su historia, no solamente me siento orgullo de ser exiliado del exodo, sino de esas lindas y tristes histotias que con sacrificio y dignidad hemos triunfado La verdad del éxodo del Mariel.
No es como dijeron los medios de la televisión como no dijeron lo que paso en el Fort Chaffe que nosotros llegamos el día 8 de Mayo a ese terrible fuerte, William tu que fuiste asignado en base militares, ya a usted lo venían preparando desde Abril 2 1980.
Desgraciadamente yo fui a dar a Fort Chaffe en Arkansas.
Todos los medios de comunicaciones dijeron mentiras como, la Mega, Uní visión, Telemando. EL único ninguno de los estan correcto de la llegada de ese gran exodo como lo fue el Mariel, en Cuba empezó en Abril 10 a dar los salvo conductos, que los primeros fueron para Perú, Costa Rica, lo que pasa que los medios de comunicaciones no estaban bien informado, aquí hay Marielitos que llegaron a Estados Unidos el 30 de Abril, yo fui uno del segundo grupo, mayo 1 1980 de los Estados unidos, tal parece que se le borraron el disco duro de las noticias.
Les pido de favor a todos esos medios que están mal informados. Que los dos primeros grupos de exiliados del Mariel, llegaron el día 30 de Abril y el día primero de Mayo que vinimos bajo un terrible mal tiempo y tempestad que pensábamos que nunca íbamos a llegar, recuerdo que cuando cruzamos el golfo de México, y el estrecho de la florida, esa lancha donde veníamos parecía un papel como esos que vuelan el Freewy.
Miren lectores detrás de nosotros vimos lanchas hundirse repletas de personas, como escritor me recuerdo muy, porque a mis 63 años, mi cerebro es como un disco duro de la computadora.
Si esos medios agarran bien las informaciones no dijeran los que todos dijeron. Vuelvo y repito muchas familias piensan que su familiares están aquí y en realidad están muertos, que se creen que se han olvidados de ellos, eso es lo que tiene que decir los medios y no ocultar la verdad.
Otra cosa de los tres niños que llegaron en ese exilio, yo tengo comunicación con dos y porque sus padres les decían, hay un cubano llamado Domingo que siempre estaba con ustedes para arriba y para abajo, eso no lo saben los medios y dicen lo que le convienen, la verdad la se yo.
